I have also tried reinstalling the software many many times. I am editing the keys using Kensingtonworks and have tried setting it on both 'Pro Tools' and 'All Applications'. I've noticed that the extra keys can be programmed into basic functions with sucess in PT, such as a right or left click, but more complex shortcuts just don't respond, such as Ctrl+Equal and Ctrl+Windows+L Click. The modifiers work in all other programmes including Avid Sibelius and just don't work at all in PT.
